Not only fruit, but also Ayurvedic medicine. Give immediate help in hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), ulcer, skin problem with itching get benefits from grapes as well as appendicitis, syphilis, asthma, bronchitis, phlegm cough, constipation, kidney diseases, periodontitis, pain, syncope, hysteria etc. Red grapes lower the risk for cardiovascular disease. The grapes included roots and leaves and flowers are used in Ayurvedic treatment. The immature and the mature grape have different effects as well as the dried grape. You can get full recovery after treatment. Contents: Glucose, iron, vitamin C, magnesium, tannic acid, citric acid, malic acid, quarcitin, fenolicaciols you find in red grapes.



Iron, potassium, oxalicacid, citric acid, tarium, tuna, magnesium, phosphor, zinc, malic acid, anti oxidants for example vitamin E. You need about two tomatoes daily. Health effects: Can give protection for cardiovascular diseases and some types of lung and prostatic cancer. Also some protection of the skin.



Garlic has no seed. There are white and red types. It is heavy, contains sulfides (alliin, allicin and diallylsulfide), vitamin B, Selen. Health effects:Lowers risk for lung and breast cancer. Lowers blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. Antiseptic, antiviral, fungicide. Lowers fever. Good for eyes. Stimulates the digestion. Gives sexual energy. Useful in constipation. It is number one in Vata disease. Controls Vata.Can aggravate Pitta and Kapha. Lowers swelling and inflammation and pain. Make the voice clear, good for singers. Kills intestinal woVrms. Useful in eczema, itching, ulcer, icterus, tonsillitis. Lowers body fat. You must know how to use garlic for medical purposes. If you use garlic you should not stay in the sun. Do not use milk and garlic together. You should not heat garlic over 70, then a lot of benefits are lost. Coriander and parsley takes away the bad smell from garlic. In winter it is recommended to eat a lot, but not in summer, because quality is warm.



Rich in energy also give sexual energy. Taste is sweet when it is mature, but quality is cold. Gives coolness to the body. Good for Vata and Pitta person. There are at least 18 types of mangos. I think everyone loves this fruit. Rich in vitamin C and E and beta carotene. Health effects: Lowers the risk for cardiovascular diseases. Good for treatment of bronchitis, cough, fever, allergic itching.



Rich content of starch. Carbohydrate 20-22%. Also vitamin A; B; C; D; E and H is vary rare. Minerals like potassium , natrium, sulfer and copper and also zinc. Banana is a fruit, but also rich in nutrition – 3 bananas a day give enough nutrition. Helps in the production of hemoglobin. Everybody can eat bananas. But in kapha disease bananas should be avoided. Health effects: Lowers the risk for cardiovascular disease.

Onion (lat: Alium)


Contains alliin, allicin, diallylsulfide and quarcitin. Rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, E and M. Vitamin M irritates the eyes. Fresh onion you eat within one hour is especially rich in vitamins and gives immediate balance into the body´s Vata, Pita, Kapha system. Health effects: Good for ear, nose, throat problem, headache, cough, lung-, kidney problem, toothache, sexual problem. Lowers the risk for cardiovascular disease. In psoriasis, eczema, rheumatic diseases, bronchitis onion is helpful. If high amount of uric acid in the blood you should not eat onion.



There are eight different known types of honey. Quality light, antiseptic, immediate uptake into blood. Contains: 50% glucose, 20% fructose, also maltose, dextrose, vitamines A, B6, B12, wax, chlorofyll, minerals: Iron, copper, magnesium, silicon, potassium, jodid, phosphorus.



Is enough food for babies (milk sugar (lactose)). Milk should be mixed in the mouth with saliva. Contains: lactose, calcium, iron, sodium, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, phosphorous, vitamins: A, B12, C, D and E.




Many different types and colours; yellow, white, red, purple, orange. Contains: Sodium, potassium, Iodine, magnesium, phosphorous, kalcium, beta carotene, vitamins A and C. Lowers the risk for cardiovascular disease. Useful in bronchitis, asthma, loose motion, intestinal worms, skin diseases, migraine, urinary problem, eye disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, rheumatic diseases, liver problem, sleeping problem, female diseases, swelling of the body. Can be of help in cancer treatment.



Contains fructose, carbohydrates, iron, potassium, phosphorous, vitamine B, C and flavonides (in the skin), ether, malic acid, tartric acid, . Lowers the risk for cardiovascular diseases.



Quality: warm (agni). Is used as spice and as medicine. Has antiinflammatory effects. Health effects.: Is beneficial in the debut of cold with cough and irritation in the throat. It is stimulating the saliva. Also good for menstruation pain, intestinal pain. When one feels sick during pregnancy, cardriving. Can reduce pain in rheumatic diseases and arthros.

Is a holy fruit and grows in India. It is highest medicine and one of the most important fruits in Ayurvedic medicine. Gives full balance in the body and controls Vata, Pita and Kapha. One amla fruit corresponds the effect of two eggs and two bananas. Amla is primarily sour and salt in taste, but after a while your mouth feels a sweet taste and if you drink water you will feel it is sugar inside. A paste of amla is used in an important medicine called chyvanaprasha. There are two types om Amla. One small wild and one bigger cultivated. Amla you can find as powder, juice, sweets, salad, perfume etc.

Trifala, sanskrit, means three fruits. Amla plus haritaki plus bahera. These three constitutes the most important Ayurvedic medicin, trifala. Trifala controls three conditions: Amlta controls Vata, Haritaki controls Pitta, and Bahera controls Kapha. These three fruits control the body from top to toe. Health effects: Amla gives a long life according to Ayurveda. If you eat amla daily it is difficult to decide your age, you look younger. You get Amrit, the nectar of God.



Contains a heavy perfume with the effect int the body and is also a medicin. Quality: warm, makes the body warm and is good for the digestion. Good for ata. Makes the body active.

Health effects: useful in migraine, vomiting, gas in the stomach, stress, itching, trembling, hickups, hypertension, cough, good for the digestion, god for pitta and kapha imbalance. Two types are found in India. One is small and green in Kerala. Another is bigger and brown in Sikkim. In pregnancy it is forbidden to eat cardamom late in the evening because of risk for abortion.



The highest energy (or God) in union with the body give total sensation of peace in whole body. Never forget to be greatful for all gifts we human beings get. All we need, we get from nature.

If you eat papaya every day it is good for your leaver function. You will not have any problems with your leaver. The green papaya can be used as a vegetable, and the red one as a fruit.
